Tech Schools
Off Paper works with local schools to bring our program into their classrooms.
The Challenge: Teachers lack learning resources and the proficiency in English to teach the language effectively.
Our Solution: Classrooms are equipped with projectors, allowing teachers to display the Off Paper app on the screen during lessons. The program and resources provided support teachers in delivering accurate and high-quality instruction.
The Challenge: Lessons are solely teacher-led, and student engagement relies heavily on rote learning methods, where information is repeated until memorized.
Our Solution: We believe in engaging students meaningfully in the learning process through effective activities. The Off Paper app offers interactive activities that stimulate various senses and hone the different literacy skills. Teachers can incorporate these activities in whole-class, group, or independent settings during lessons.
It’s a valuable resource for the teachers. It’s been a useful teaching tool for them. It makes it so easy to train the teachers on how to teach English compared to before, when we did not have the app. Most of them are able to use it independently after a few sessions of learning. Teachers also learn from the app before they teach the lesson.

Partnership Process
-
The Off Paper team stays with the community to learn about their culture and needs. We do so not just through conversing with the locals but observing the children and conducting pre-testing to gauge their ablities.
-
After collecting and accessing the data, we discuss with our local partners the best way to use our resources for the children’s learning.
-
We trait he volunteers on how to use the learning app based on the customised solution created. We observe the roll-out and further discuss how our methods can be improved.
-
We work with the partners to equip each learning space with devices and Off Paper’s app.
-
The local team continues the work.
-
We keep in touch with the local team in-person and remotely, consistently gathering feedback, brainstorming and training them on new updates.
